BarnDog

Roadmap

What's available today and what's coming next.

BarnDog is in early access. This page separates what works today from what's planned, so the rest of the docs only describe what you can actually use.

Available today

  • Signing in from the CLI, and connecting to your own server.
  • Choosing harnesses: Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor.
  • Installing published Skills and Skills from local folders, and keeping them in sync.
  • Pulling, editing, and pushing Skills as Suggested Changes, then reviewing and merging them from the CLI or the web workspace.
  • In the web workspace: organizations, teams, members, Skills, Hooks, MCP configurations, and Suggested Change review.

Coming next

  • CLI commands for MCP configurations and Hooks: barndog mcp … and barndog hooks … for listing, installing, enabling, and disabling them.
  • Enable, disable, and remove commands for Skills, so you don't need to edit config.yaml by hand.
  • Scope sets: barndog sets to install everything recommended, optional, or available from an organization, team, or repository, and to switch teams.
  • Bootstrap from a repository: barndog init suggesting the organization, owning team, and repository sets when you run it inside a repository.
  • Health checks: barndog doctor and barndog compatibility.
  • Importing your existing setup from Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
  • More harnesses: OpenCode and Gemini CLI.
  • Shared knowledge that agents can read from the CLI.
