Environment selection, shared assets, GitHub integration, and machine inspection.

These commands use the connection saved by login and init. Asset origins accept org, team/<slug>, repo/<slug>, dev/<slug>, or me. Scope selections and activation apply machine-wide.

Scope subscriptions follow matching publications and additions/removals on sync. Team switching replaces only team subscriptions. Individual selections, exclusions, and activation overrides remain independent.

Use --authority barndog --key <stable-key> to copy published main and its ancestry into independent BarnDog ownership. GitHub remains unchanged and is not connected for future updates. Keep the key for an exact retry. --authority github is the compatibility default and keeps GitHub authoritative.

The linked GitHub user needs repository-creation permission and the App needs Administration write permission. For selected-repository installations, add the created repository to the App on GitHub and retry the same command. If GitHub loses the creation response, inspect the repository and connect it explicitly with barndog github connect; BarnDog never silently adopts an existing destination or deletes it on failure.
